Twist, our horse, returns to escort you through the streets of Historic Downtown Bryan. If you have not had the opportunity to visit Historic Downtown Bryan recently, you are missing out! We would like to extend the offer to see the revitalization of Downtown Bryan from the luxurious seats of our horse-drawn carriage. Step back in time and travel the way the regal citizens used to. It is an experience you will remember for a lifetime.
The route begins in the lovely Courtyard of the Historic LaSalle Hotel. From there, we travel along Main Street and Bryan Ave., among other roads, to display the magnificent revival of Downtown Bryan. Along our way, we will encounter some historic landmarks such as the LaSalle Hotel, the Carnegie Library, the former Hotel Charles, the Astin Building, the Varisco Building ( the old J.C. Penny s ), the former Woolworth Building, and the former First State Bank building... just to name a few. We are still learning the history of all of these buildings. So, if you have some stories to share, we would love to hear them!
