Sorry we haven't been updating the blog. I have been very busy with work these past couple of weeks (seems like months). Every year.. around this time... my boss presents our scientific research to a major Neuroscience meeting. Before this time, we run around like crazy trying to get everything done and ready. There barely has been time to e-mail let alone update the blog, so my apologizes. Blog should start being updated this week... YEAH!

Hi Everyone... It's been a crazy month plus some! As I stated before, my work had me running around like crazy. I've finally recovered from that :-) In regards to puppies... since that is what you all REALLY want to read about (*grin*), we've seen Pearl's brother, Thumper (Isabella) go to his new home. Holly's husband, Alan, came all the way from Florida to pick up their little puppy, Trooper. We also took Claudia's puppy (choc/tan dapple) to her. That was a special day... (will explain more later). We also saw Duncan (silver dapple from Merlin & Diva) leave yesterday. We're down to 5 puppies now. I will be putting in pics & comments from each departure. That is my goal for this week.. to do that & to also update puppy pics for the available pups. So... stay posted!!! :-) Oh.. and the Doxies say... Happy Halloweeeeenie! :-)

Our little Izzy boy went to his new home on 10-1-06. Since I'm a bit behind on the blog... I can now say that they have called him Thumper. :-) Why Thumper?? Because he's just like his daddy, Merlin, and his grandpa, Mudbug, and Merlin's babies.... they like to do this hip-hop bark thing. They hop up and down (back legs on the floor... front legs up & down) and bark while their ears are flapping. This is the family's way of saying... I"M HERE!! Pay attention to ME and love on ME! :-) It's the cutest thing that some personality traits are passed on from generation to generation. Oh... and Merlin & his babies LOVE to prance! :-)

Lynda & her family have some gorgeous & very entertaining Doxies that will keep this little guy on his toes. We went over to her house to drop Thumper off and had a great time playing with her dogs & snuggling with Thumper's future girlfriend, Squeaky. Lynda even sent us a new pic of him (see below). She says he's quite the cuddle bug. We look forward to seeing him grow-up as he will be quite handsome!
