Around 3am this morning, Pepper woke Kim up to tell her it was time. How cute is that? :-) Pepper had 7... yes.. 7 gorgeous lil' puppies. Pepper was FAR bigger during her last pregnancy, so we did not think we would be expecting anything more than 5. max. First puppy was born at 3:15am and we thought that last one was born at 6:06am. Later today, Kim called and said... nope... there's 7! Since we weren't expecting any more, neither one of us counted them this morning. Pepper and her 7 puppies are doing well. Pepper is a great mom! The Doxie family watched & smelled the deliveries underneath the door. "Papa Sebby" had the right side of his face plastered to the floor so he could see what was going on. So... you see Sebby's nose & his brown eye... the whole time. :-) That's Sebastian for you. Everyone else took turns at the door.

Pepper's Pups!....8-11-06

Sorry for the out-of-date blanket. :-) When you have pups, yo go through a lot of blankets, etc and you use anything you can find. Here are Pepper's pups sleeping together. AWWWW... How cute! :-) At this time, we have decided to not sell the little black/tan girl. She will more than likely be available for sale/adoption in the future, but just not at his time. She's the smallest in the litter (half the size of her brothers) and we want to make sure she gets big & strong before we even think about her going to her new home. The boys will be available and pics & prices are soon to follow. These are CKC registered.

Wolfgang....8-11-06

Wolfgang... where did we get this name??? :-) Ok, so he looks like little Sebastian (Sebby) with his minimal dappling and calling him Junior was out of the question. Sebastian registered name is.... (drum roll please) "Wolfgang Sebastian Bark" Yes... Sebastian Bach, the composer has nothing to do with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. But... Sebastian technically is Kim's dog (althought Sebastian claims he is everyone's dog! *grin) so she named him. The "bark"... if you know Sebby... you know where that came from! So... since this little guy looks like Sebastian, he gets to follow his name somehow and Wolfgang it is or Wolfie. :-)

Lil' Man....8-11-06

This little guy is soooo lucky! He's going to Florida to play on a dog beach!! I'm jealous! :-) Holly, Alan, and Gidget will be his new family. Holly & I talk often via email & I really have enjoyed our conversations! They haven't decided on a name for him yet. I affectionately call him Gizmo because when he lays on his back, he looks like the cute Gizmo on the movie, Gremlins. We also call him Lil' man :-)

Luke....8-11-06

Here's Luke at 16 days old. Ok... I must admit where we got his name from. Daisy, our Isabella puppy from Bella and Merlin, is a cousin to these puppies. Rustin (these puppies' daddy) is Daisy's uncle. Confusing, isn't it? :-) So, that makes Daisy, Cousin Daisy... like in the Dukes of Hazzard. HA HA!! So... we have Bo, Luke, and Duke! :-) Luke has darker tan markings than Bo.

Luke....8-21-06

Mr. Luke... such a cute picture! All of these guys are starting to show their personalities. So, this is a super fun time for us as we get to know each & every one of them. Having 11 puppies... it's going to take A LOT of time getting to know all of them! :-) Please... someone remind us not to have 2 litters at once again! Better yet... I guess we should have a talk with the girls about their heat cycle! :-)

Must be nice to be a puppy.... taking naps whenever you want to or when your siblings let you! :-) The little black & tan pup on top... on the bottom of the pic... that's the little Princess! :-) Tinkerbell is her name... ha ha. She's the smallest of both litters. She sure is adorable & is really figuring out just how adorable she is and how she can use that to her benefit! We don't have her listed yet as she is so small. We want to make sure she is 100% healthy before we list her as available. She sure will make a great little entertainer for a very lucky family.

Bo...CKC registered...$200

Hi! I'm Bo... As you can see I love playing & having my tummy rubbed. I love to cuddle & give LOTS of kisses! I'm a bit smaller than my look-alike brother, Luke, but that doesn't stop me. I still pounce on him and try to show him who's boss! :-) For the technical stuff: I'm CKC registered. My mom is Pepper & Dad is Rustin. And if you want to take me home, you'll have to chat with Kim and/or Alexi and make sure you pass with flying colors! They are pretty picky as to who we go home with. :-) ________________________________________________________________________________ Some more pictures of me... Taken Feb. 18 during a road trip to the park. I LOVE driving in the truck... always like to look out the window & go laydown in the backseat. The park was AWESOME... I'm just as "crazy" & playful as Bo, but a bit more laid back. :-) I would rather be with Mom getting hugs & kisses rather than playing with the gang. I'm definitely a Momma's Boy & PROUD of it! :-) I would love to go home to a great family who will spoil me & treat me as the King of the House (you know... like Sebastian... we LOVE playing with him!).

Pic taken 11-2-06... Luke is now the biggest pup in the bunch. Just as playful as ever & loves to run around the house & find someone to play with. He has more of the hound face like his daddy, Rustin. What a handsome little guy!! :-) If you look closely, you can see he's doing the little Elvis Hound Dog snarl :-)

All of this playing sure does make a puppy tired.... zzzzzz.....
Well, Big Boy Duke went to his new home today. It was a difficult choice between Duke & Wolfgang, but that "hound" face, those big ears, and lots of cuddling finally won Tom & Dede over. :-) Duke will fit right in with Bosco & Dino, their other 2 dogs. Bosco is the big Doxie King of the house. We had a great time playing ball with him! :-) He will be a great big brother to Duke (but don't tell him I said so *grin)! Best of luck to Tom & Dede with their new addition to the family. They are a great couple and we really enjoyed visiting with them & the dogs, of course. We look forward to saying Hi again in the future!
Bye Duke... We'll miss you! You have a great family & be good! :-)

Wolfgang...CKC reg... SOLD

Update: Mr. Wolfie is SOLD. He will be going to a WONDERFUL family in Arizona. Tom, Wolfie's new dad, will be flying down here on Tuesday, April 17th. They have already bought him all kinds of stuff & he will be spoiled rotten for sure. We will miss him! ____________________________________________________________________________ Dapples are the cutiest... there's nothing like little dapple spots all over your Doxie... OK.. so that is a taste of my limited marketing skills since I'm just a puppy! :-) I'm Wolfgang... the only Silver dapple left! I was named after my Papa Sebby (Sebastian to the rest of the world). Rustin & Pepper are my parents and I'm the only dapple left... hmm... did I say that already?? :-) My brothers are Bo & Luke and Tinkerbell is my sister, but sometimes we pretend she's not around as she thinks she rules the roost... NOT! I'm energetic... love to cuddle... love to run around the house & play... I get along great with all of the Doxies in the house and the cats. I'm super sweet & would make a great addition to any family. My other 2 dapples brothers already have great families... one is in Houston area & the other one... his daddy came all the way from Florida to pick him up! Tinkerbell has a new family

This weekend was a weekend with many mixed emotions. I will elaborate during the next entries. Little Miss Tinkerbell finally found herself a family. Who can resist a face like that? :-) Her new mom is a stay-at-home mom with 3 kids, a husband, and a pomeranion named Max. Tinkerbell will definitely not be lacking attention or love or play time. Tinkerbell has always been very special to us as she was the smallest in the litter & had to be supplemented with a bottle. She was always the ruler of her brothers & told all the boys that she was boss. Smart girl! :-) Here's a pic of Tinkerbell in my truck. She loves car rides... loved going to the park (we even saw REAL ducks there). We will be staying in contact with her new mom. We'll miss you, Little Tink! :-) The house won't be the same without you. And yes... we do get attached... :-) Tinkerbell%202-18-07.jpg
