Since Miss Bella decided to have her puppies while I was in New Orleans, the camera wasn't at home to take pictures of her & her beautiful bundles of joy. Kim was at home with her.. taking pictures with her camera phone & sending me pictures via text messaging. :-) So, Bella & pups had their pictures sent to the French Quarter... how cool is that? :-) It was bad timing on my part to go to NOLA at that time, but with my brother's school schedule, there wasn't any other time. Since we haven't bought a data cable yet for the phone to transfer over pictures (I just bought one yesterday through Ebay), this is the first picture taken (8-30-07) with the good 'ol Canon Powershot camera. As you can see, Bella had 4 gorgeous babies: 2 Isabella dapple girls, 1 blue dapple boy, and 1 blue solid boy.

Our eyes are fully open... are ears are able to hear... we're running around & exploring the world! Here are some pics of the pups in their whelping box. They're outgrowing it pretty quick & it won't be long until they figure out how to follow Mom and climb out of it :-) Pics taken 9-14-07

Our local animal shelter has decided to have a Wiener Dog Festival/races to raise money in order to build a new building to house more needy animals. They are having, of course, a costume parade!! Since Merlin LOVES getting dressed up, we had to try on his "Merlin, The Wizard" costume and see if it fits. It's either this or Pimp Daddy... wihich would suit him REALLY well, but I couldn't find one in town & waited to long to get one shipped. So, here are some pics of Merlin trying on his costume. You can tell he was really thrilled about that hat. We'll see how long it stays on for the costume parade.

Skylar absolutely LOVES playing with puppies. It's probably one of his favorite things besides being with his mommy, ME! :-) Yes, Skylar is a Momma's boy :-) Here are some pics of Skylar playing with the pups. He lets them crawl all over him, bite his ears... anything they want to do. How cute is that???
